Think about it: Claudius Ptolemy tells you 2,000 years ago that things out in space can impact your daily life: you cross his palm with silver and go home, maybe to burn a candle before the lares and penates. NASA tells you today that things out in space can impact your daily life - like, fry the electrical grid that keeps you living in the style to which you've become accustomed - and you start stocking up on bottled water and canned goods. Across a temporal gulf of 2,000 years, one thing remains constant: astrology. Call it what you will, but that's what it is.
