JAN 14, 2008 - Capricorn Astrology Software offers a new option for doing astrology on and with your PC. Their AstrologyExplorer3D program does standard astrological calculations and charts, and interprets natal charts as well. Screen shots at this site also show a planetarium capability, and I'm sure that's just scratching the surface. The screen shots appear to suggest that AstrologyExplorer3D is for Windows machines, but I wasn't able to find explicit mention of this anywhere in their website. Nor could I find a link where one could download a trial version of the program, but you can buy it online for £99.95 if you're willing to take a leap of faith. Some sort of trial version download really ought to be there, it seems to me . . .

New astrology software doesn't come along every day. But if there's a hardware platform to support it, you can bet it won't be too long before the software appears. Apple's iPhone, for example, is supposed to be opened up for third-party applications Real Soon Now (next month, last I heard). I'm sure iPhone astrology software will be available for downloading soon thereafter. (That, and a real 3G capability, would send me down to the Apple store in a heartbeat.)
