JAN 2, 2006 - Aurora Galleries displays some of the finest sky candy ever. Those of us who've never spent much time in northern latitudes and haven't had the pleasure in person can only pine for the neon vistas of the auroras. I can imagine my most ancient ancestors - who were from higher latitudes - must have fallen to their knees in reverence at the kind of majestic sights displayed in this online gallery. And to think that energy from our parent star interacting with our home planet creates this beauty . . . well, it gives the cosmic connection an almost spiritual dimension. Did I say almost?
