MAR 7, 2005 - The Magus of Magnetism makes for some nice light reading, of special interest to anyone who feels a need to analyze, explain and perhaps even justify various elements of the human experience from a scientific perspective. Take astrology, for example. You may be delighted to read in this interview how astronomer/astrophysicist Percy Seymour sees a possiblity that astrological correspondences might be rooted in magnetic tidal resonances. Unless you're one of those scientific intellectual imperialist types, that is. Whatever. If you're one of them, you're pitifully near to hopeless. And if you feel the need of that ilk's approval, you're in nearly as much peril. Sigh.
