And since consciousness (mind) is a part of reality, that grand unifying theory must embrace and explain both physics and the psyche in a kind of unity that was postulated by astrology millennia ago in the now-hoary dictum, "As above, so below." From particle physics to cosmology to Vedanta, the Project Rishi Society website takes a look at science and pre-scientific spirituality (Vedanta), and makes the case that they're at least compatible - and maybe, ultimately identical. It's all easy-reading stuff despite the references to quantum mechanics, cosmology and the like . . . and it might just be soul-stirring, if you're in the right frame of mind.
