OCT 26, 2009 - NASA iPhone App is free and a great way to stay in touch with space on your iPhone or iPod Touch (OS 3.0 or later). There are four sections to the app: one covering NASA space missions (the International Space Station, etc.), one with thousands of space images (including lots of Hubble eye candy), a section of videos, and - maybe my favorite - the updates. The latter include air and space mission videos as well as Twitter feeds from NASA. There's a filter feature which allows you to select topics of special interest (check out NASA_MAAT in the updates filter), and ignore the rest if you wish. It's easy to use and puts the cosmos in your pocket or purse.
