Created by Palden Jenkins, this free online treasure trove puts an astrological and historical timeline stretching across several thousand years right at your fingertips. Read the preliminaries to get up to speed on basics like planetary relationships and configurations and phenomena. Then take a look at the timeline that combines regional world history and astrological cycles. It's too sparse and too general - for instance, often overlooking critical economic developments, and glossing over how Pluto's perhelion can set a tenor for time over generations - but it's the best start I've seen yet.
