OCT 11, 2004 - Mt. St. Helens VolcanoCam is where you go to keep an eye on one of the world's most famous volcanoes. Which you might like to do around the middle and end of this month (and December). The view, which comes from the Johnson Ridge Observatory about five miles from the volcano, updates automatically every five minutes. (Turn your browser's cache feature off to get the auto-updates; otherwise reload or refresh the page manually.) In addition to these near real-time images, there's an image archive where you can download and view (Windows-only) movies of this month's prior eruptions.
