MARCH 2007 FORECAST RESULTS
© 2007 by Richard Nolle

If you were expecting some kind of sun sign nonsense, forget about it. This is real astrology for the real world. If it's real astrology for yourself that you want, you can get it by phone or in print. And if you need help deciphering the astrological glyphs in the graphics accompanying this article, see Astroglyphs: Astrological Symbols Guide. Please note: this forecast is expressed in terms of Universal Time (UT).

Just like last month, there's so much in the way of validation by headlines for this month's forecast that I hardly know where to start; nor do I have time to detail them all. So I'll just hit the highlights as time allows.

On the geophysical front, I had foretold that the March 12-26 time frame surrounding the SuperMoon eclipse on the 19th would bring "the biggest potential for geophysical disturbances of the year to date," including "a surge, if not a deluge" in the way of "very powerful storms with destructive winds and heavy precipitation" as well as "moderate to severe earthquakes (Richter 5 and up with attendant tsunami risk) and volcanic eruptions".

Perhaps the biggest news in the seismic department during this period was the Richter 6.9 earthquake that rattled Japan on Sunday the 25th, killing one person and injuring more than 160. Houses were demolished, roads were buckled, and more than 1,300 people had to be evacuated to shelters after their homes were collapsed or seriously damaged. Trains were halted and people were trapped in elevators. Power outages hit nearly 500 homes in the area and 9,000 had their water supplies cut. Small tsunamis hit in some areas following the earthquake, which was one of three very powerful temblors that day: two stuck near Vanuatu in the South Pacific. The first, measured at magnitude 7.3, occurred two minutes before the quake in central Japan. Vanuatu's second quake, at magnitude 7.1, came about half an hour later. My forecast mentioned that, while the storm and seismic potential associated with this SuperMoon eclipse was worldwide, special vulnerability existed "along a longitudinal line from Tokyo down through Australia" - which put the March 25 Japan quake right on target.

I had foreseen that March would have a run of "fires, accidents, crashes, explosions, criminal violence, (and) military clashes" in association with a string of Mars aspects during the month, most especially around "the 19th, 21st, 22nd and 25th". Iran's seizure of 15 British military personnel on the 23rd may be the best known of all such incidents, and the one with the greatest long term potential for mischief. After all, the current heavy Mars activation extends into April, and then in November comes the Red Planet retrograde. These are signs of another crisis building in the Middle East. Unless this is averted, and the chances of that are slim, there could be a horrific outcome - and in those parts, that's saying something.
